Scope & Introduction
HMT Limited (HMTL) is the holding company of HMT Group of Companies. It has two Manufacturing Units, Food Processing Machinery Unit, Aurangabad and Auxiliary Business Division, Bengaluru. The Food Processing Machinery Unit manufactures a variety of machinery for milk processing and other food processing applications. It also takes up turn-key projects for milk processing industries. The Auxiliary Business Unit has taken up assembly and sale of watches & clocks in order to keep HMT watches heritage alive and encash the brand equity.

Achievements/Projects
- In 2019, “Auxiliary Business Division” (ABD), Bengaluru, was opened as a distinct profit centre and tasked with associated business activities like manufacture / sale of watches, clocks, tractor spares, etc.,
- In 2019, HMT Heritage Centre and Museum was inaugurated at Bangalore outlining the Journey of the company since 1953.
- HMT Limited participated in Samaya Bharathi- International Clock exhibition in the month of January’2023. HMT also won 2 nd Place for best Watch design for stellar series of Watches.
- HMT Food Processing Division, Aurangabad participated in an Exhibition at HiTech Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad in the month of September’2023.
- Developed Milk Homogeniser of Capacity 200 LPH for mini dairy plants.
- Manufactured in-house Road Milk Tanker of Capacity 9 KL and 5 KL- double compartment and supplied to customers.
- Bagged order worth Rs. 76.50 Cr for establishment of 30 MTD Powder Plant on Turnkey basis.
- Established a Dairy Processing Plant at Common facility centre for small & medium Enterprises at IDEB, Khulna, Bangladesh.
- For FY 2020-21, HMT Limited set up a mini science center at Government School, Yadgir for promoting education.
- For FY 2021-22, HMT Limited contributed an Ambulance to the KC Government Hospital, Bangalore. Contributed 100 HB testing machines and 57500 numbers of HB strips to Govt. Hospital, Yadgir. Contributed 35 oxygen cylinders to Mandya Institute of Medical Science, Mandya.
For the FY 2022-23, HMT Limited contributed its CSR funds to Physically challenged through ALIMCO. The CSR Committee of HMT Limited identified Orphanages for Blinds and Poor in Bangalore and contributed items for educational and hygiene needs like Computers, stationaries, musical instruments, water purifier etc., HMT distributed Reusable Sanitary Napkins to Women staying in Government Hostels of Yadgir. HMT sponsored mid-day meal for children at Ajmer Rajasthan through Akshyapatra Foundation.
